Funding should be the last priority for a startup. if you are really passionate, obsessed over your idea. start implementing anything from your idea. Your initial move makes you think it really works. is this a real problem in society or just an unwanted solution to a delusional problem. zepto founders in COVID started grocery delivery because of complete lockdown and their whole community are out of groceries and they stepped up to the godown and packed the whole grocery themselves and delivered by themselves for many many months. They understood this is a real problem and planned to make a business out of it as kiranakart. but when they raised funding and implemented it. they found that supply chain as infeasible and then again pivoted to zepto. they literally did 2 to 3 years of what they are doing now and even failed 2 times in the middle. If COVID had never happened they might be just 2 Stanford graduates. First Chase outcome, then chase perfection.

Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto are dominating the quick commerce space, while Tata and Reliance backed players are struggling This makes me sad looking at Dunzo's position now. It was the only option and life saver during covid times.
