Real truth of Zepto Cafeโs Seprate App! So Zepto have recently announced Zepto Cafe, separate app for it's 10 Min Food business. Now while it looks as if it's just a way to compete with Zomato and Swiggy. There is probably more to this story. So Zepto's aims to turn profitable by FY26 and also aiming for an IPO next year (livemint). Thus, it's possible that Zepto is trying to separate it's unprofitable cafe business from it's soon to be profitable core Buisness. In doing so, during the IPO, zepto can highlight that's it's core business is profitable, adding weight to its IPO and this may also help Zepto in raising funds in private markets. And i think it's true as launching a seperate app for it's cafe doesn't help, coz while ordering food from Zepto, you will most likely add few snacks/grocery products too increasing aov. Btw this is what I i think, and I may be wrong! So please correct me.
