Are you kidding? That commute is soul-crushing. 9-6:30 plus 3 hours travel means you're dedicating 12.5 hours daily to work. When exactly will you study for CAT? Working in IT is mentally draining - you won't have the energy to prep seriously after those hours. If you genuinely want an MBA from a good college, take the 8 months and focus completely. Your 70 percentile with no prep shows you have potential. This is your life we're talking about - a few months' gap won't matter if you end up at IIM.
