Value fashion retailer Citykart has appointed Rohit Goyal as its Chief Financial Officer as the company accelerates expansion across emerging markets. Goyal will work with the leadership team to support the next phase of growth while strengthening financial discipline and governance. His role includes improving profitability, managing investor and banking relationships, and driving digital adoption through data-driven financial systems. He will also focus on building a strong finance team and improving accountability across functions. Citykart focuses on affordable fashion for consumers in tier II, tier III, and tier IV markets. In May last year, the company raised Rs 538 crore in a Series B round led by TPG NewQuest and A91 Partners. With growth above 40%, it plans to expand its retail footprint and strengthen its presence across smaller cities.
