Hey Satish, I guess the Indian consumer mindset is still adapting to the idea of renting and thrifting stores clothing is more of an emotion in India rather than just opting for styling this might work for elite brands like gucci etc where people might want to just experience the brand ! you can give this idea a shot in bags, shoes etc but clothing would bring in fear of hygiene, trust and also maintenance ! Also the unit economics would never be enough at this price point !

I think clothes are not the thing a consumer wants to try renting. What if it will get torn out or get a hard stain on it by the consumer ?

naah, not for real men we used to spend a week with 1 underwear.. Outfit clothes , not big deal...

logistics and supply chain will be the issue in this business in 1000 rupees you will not be able to deliver.

Flyrobe is already into this business. I am not sure of their business model but they exist in renting apparel business.

peer to peer renting from middle class to middle class is impossible , instead this you can go with high class to middle class. for example - Rohit sharma had a range rover with less running , no scratches, new condition , but now he bore with that car , so he decided to sell in 2nd hand market . A dealer purchases that car with a good amount and lists that car in 2nd hand market at affordable pricing. Now the Middle class or a person who can't afford new range rover , easily buys their dream car in 2nd hand market . conclusion - collect or purchase branded old clothes from high class and rent or sell to middle class .

I think this idea is good but this is not working in India Indian mindset is not a rich mind set Indian middle class family is also prefer per minute cloths not a temporary in 1000 I hope you understand bro 🤔 best of luck
