Great idea! I agree with the fact that tapping tier 2 and 3 can prove vital in deciding the future of ride hailing services. However, I have a few fundamental questions about this: 1). Usually, the cost of a ride in an e-rickshaw is very cheap, mostly ranging between Rs.10-20 in tier 2 cities. How would profitability and margins be achieved since the customers would not be willing to pay a higher amount because of the easy accessibility to e-rickshaws in general? 2). Usually the distance covered in e-rickshaws is not really long, usually ranging between 1-5 KMs. This will again serve as a deterrent for high-tocken sized rides. 3). E-rickshaws are more easily accessible than cabs. Only does not really need to make much effort to get an e rickshaw for a ride. Why would a consumer take the inconvenience of downloading an app and waiting for a ride?
