NAME- RydeGo PROBLEM - Inefficient transport systems in Tier 2, 3 cities and rural areas; Ola, Uber- pricey, not enough penetration; Rapido - inherently unsafe (2W), carries only one passenger; Return journeys of e-rickshaws are usually empty, losing precious revenue. SOLUTION - Organising the fragmented e-rickshaw market; Service will be affordable compared to Ola, Uber; E-rickshaws are present in most towns and villages; They are safe (3W); Can carry 4-6 passengers, ride-sharing will reduce cost per passenger. Return journeys can be made profitable by helping riders connect with drivers. Ride-hailing services market size- $7.26 bn (2028) with 287.40mn users. Majority of India resides in Tier 2 and beyond cities and villages, the number being >70% (approximately 1 billion people).
