So It all started when Greg, a popular X creator, tagged Arbyโs (an American QSR brand), pointing out that they still hadn't updated the old โTwitter logoโ on their carry bag. To this Arbyโs humorously replaced the Twiiter logo with Gregโs profile picture and promised that for every 1,000 likes, theyโd make Gregโs face bigger on the packaging. And while they will probobly never do that, this stunt still worked as 1. Their X postโs views shot up 750x, from 8K to 6 million. 2. At peak, interest in Arbyโs surged over 100x (as per Google Trends). And All this free organic marketingโwithout spending a penny on ads.
