Ever wondered how Elon Musk created initial revenue for SpaceX, Tesla and X? 1. SpaceX: Space exploration is expensive. So his funds were used to create and deploy multiple small satellites in the space for telecommunication, called Starlink. This became profit center for SpaceX, and gave good initial revenue for SpaceX 2. Tesla: In 2008, Elon bought Tesla. In 2010-2019, government had Carbon credits program. Elon loves PR! He got govt attention by attending interviews, and telling govt has to consider Tesla for the Carbon credits program. Tesla got highest Carbon credit for being EV. Elon rang other automobile companies with low Carbon credits. He sold them Teslas Carbon credits, making good revenue stream for Tesla in early stages. He also sold other limited edition products. 3. X: When working capital and funds got low, he introduced blue check. He also auctioned Twitter's name and logo for funds Have you thought of alternate revenue streams for your or Indian startups? _S
