when you run the company! you have to think about business impact too. what zepto did is create a trust that no matter what I'll definitely get my order within a few mins. Most people don't keep looking at maps and they don't care so why should zepto?

I run a company.. here I'm sharing my opinion from a user point of view. From a business point of view you might be aware of the terms "user case" where you have to consider all the aspects.. there are users like you and users like me.. users like me consider the facts about the shortest route, congestion, road blocks, travel time etc.. map definitely helps to track and allow the users like me to check the position delivery agents.. if there are congestion or road blocks then the user can guide the delivery agent to take another possible routes which has no/less congestion.. maps helps here a lot ... reducing cost is one aspect, but loosing customer is another, so calculation should be based of real time scenario..

I have seen Blinkit take the longest time about 20-30 mins to deliver, Zepto is the most expensive of the 3 apps with difference of 50 to 100 rs per order and Swiggy Instamart seems to be in a sweet spot by providing delivery within 3-5 mins as well
