Steve Blank explains the Lean Startup methodology Startups are not like big companies. Big companies follow proven plans, but startups are looking for a plan that works. Steve Blank says the biggest mistake founders make is thinking their business plan is 100% correct when it’s really just guesses. The solution? Test your ideas. Don’t just build a product right away. Go out, talk to customers, and learn about their problems, needs, and frustrations. Ask questions like: Who are they? What do they need help with? How can you solve their problems? This isn’t about selling; it’s about understanding. Use what you learn to improve your ideas and create a simple version of your product, called a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Test it with customers, improve it, and keep learning until you find the right fit for your product and market.
