Ride-hailing apps should introduce a feature like this to avoid the hassle of calls and negotiations, providing a smoother, more transparent experience for both parties. • Ride price is initially set at 150. • Driver can propose a higher price, with a reason for the increase. • Driver’s screen can display the negotiation option in their native language. • The customer receives the proposed price with an explanation. • Customer can: • Reject the price and cancel the ride. • Negotiate for a lower price. • If the driver agrees to the new price renegotiated by the customer, the ride proceeds. • If no agreement is reached, the ride can be cancelled by either parties on account of pricing issues.
