I recently used a taxi service and had a terrifying experience. As someone who frequently travels from the outskirts to the city, I've tried many ride-hailing apps, but I've often found myself scared by the drivers' reckless behavior. During this latest ride, the driver was aggressive, skipping traffic signals twice, speeding, and swerving dangerously. At one point, he even drove at speed into a petrol pump. I wanted to file a complaint with the taxi service, but I hesitated. Living alone, I worried about potential retaliation from the driver who knew my whereabouts. It’s frustrating that these ride-hailing apps and taxi services don’t prioritize hiring drivers who prioritize safety. I really wish they would implement stricter measures to ensure safer driving practices for their passengers.
