I would suggest you to think a lot about this business plan because of giants like swiggy and Zomato and other local tiffin delivery services

others can easily implement this. not so unique or a problem solver.

I started this same business back in 2022 in Bangalore. There are many challenges which we couldn't solve. Within 1 year we had to shut it down. The main issue was the delivery time. I hope you have checked the checked the competitors like DotPe which is funded by Google that time.

Well, your idea isn't unique from other businesses. Right now, you're focused on restaurant commissions, but what about expanding your customer base? Big players like Swiggy and Zomato burn cash due to customer acquisition costs. It's a chicken egg problem: restaurants won't sign up if you don't have a large audience, and customers won't sign up if you have limited restaurant options. How will you tackle this? I'm genuinely curious!

how will you manage funds?? also you'll be generating less revenue and you ok with that??

Have you ever wondered how did even after taking massive 30% commissions these big giant apps were always on loss? I think you need to work on unit metrics please. Also you can consider a monthly listing fee instead of commissions and advertising as alternative modes of monetising instead of direct comission. that way you'll be able to deliver your promise of similar prices to resto menu with more ease and satisfaction to both user and restaurant vendors.

by reading all the coments and your replies, I found you are very interested towards this app , but my one suggestion target restaurants owners to use your app then automatically customer's will come , just like namma yatri done in mobility sector .

5 percent commission,if order is for 200 commission 10. if distance is 2 km .it even does not satisfy the petrol for delivery guy the 10 rupees

how you will make profit

you are just playing with price , I think I won't make much different , bigger companys will invest more and they can reduce price , so here better to go with different usp .
