It’s good that Modi is making moves in the semiconductor space, but let’s not forget what happened the last time we tried this. The whole fab unit burned down, and suddenly India stopped trying. It shows how easily ambitions can be crushed. We need a strong policy, government support, and contingency plans to ensure we don't lose momentum—because we’re definitely stepping on some big toes globally by trying this again.
