A few days ago, I got a call from a lead who wanted a logo for their photography brand. They chose a package (after some bargaining—which I agreed to), but then insisted on having the logo ready in just three days. And not just any logo—they wanted something amazing, with that "wow" factor. I tried to explain that creating a great logo takes time. As designers, we often reach a point of saturation while working on a concept. Stepping away for a day or two gives us a fresh perspective, often revealing flaws we missed and sparking new ideas. It’s not that we’re lazy—it’s that we care. We want to deliver something truly exceptional. But, as is often the case, they didn’t quite understand. So here I am, still giving it my all, trying to create something that not only looks good but works. I just wish more non-designers understood this process.
