subscription is easier to sell but but hard to retain. Pick a specific item and run campaigns or whatever needed for it. You take the control of purchase. Ask customer to pay you. So that you can keep the commission and pay the business back.

We are running a service called Bolty. We deal with denting and painting for cars. We partnered with service providers on the commission model and we are doing very well. Although I know a lot of people and agencies doing digital marketing with a fixed fee. initially they may be doing well but the churn rate is also higher.
