Give the past Example of an Entrepreneurship where Product was the best in the market but yet the Business failed due to bad marketing or operations ??
Google Glass: Google Glass was an impressive piece of technology, but it faced challenges with privacy concerns, limited practical applications, and a lack of clear use cases
Segway: The Segway was a revolutionary personal transportation device, but it struggled due to high costs, limited practical use cases, and marketing that failed to address its niche audience effectively
Webvan offered an innovative online grocery delivery service in the late 1990s, but it failed due to poor market timing, operational inefficiencies, and overexpansion
One classic example is Betamax by Sony. Betamax was considered superior in video quality compared to its competitor, VHS. However, despite being technically better, Betamax lost the home video format war in the 1980s. The failure wasn’t due to the product itself but to poor marketing and strategic decisions. Sony’s refusal to license Betamax technology to other manufacturers and their shorter recording time (compared to VHS) resulted in VHS becoming more popular, eventually leading to Betamax's failure. It was a lesson that even the best product needs strong marketing and strategic operations to succeed

Blockbuster had the chance to buy Netflix for peanuts. They had a better product – everyone loved going to the video store. But they refused to adapt to streaming, and their operations stayed stuck in the 90s while Netflix took off. RIP Blockbuster.
HMT Watches. Man, back in the day these were the best watches in India – affordable, durable, trusted. But they stuck to the same old designs, didn’t innovate, and the marketing didn’t evolve with the modern crowd. Titan came in, did everything right, and HMT watches disappeared
Kingfisher Airlines, bro. The product was premium – best in class service, luxurious experience, and on-time flights. But Vijay Mallya’s marketing strategy was more about him flaunting his lifestyle than focusing on the actual airline. Add horrible financial mismanagement, and it was a disaster waiting to happen
