I found one of the best articles on OAuth for beginners!! I remember when I first tried to learn about OAuth, most of the articles were filled with jargons and lacked relatable examples. This Friday, while scrolling through HackerNews, I came across this thread called "OAuth from First Principles", an article from Stack Auth (YC S24). I am impressed by the simplicity of the article in explaining the concept behind OAuth, especially its approach of gradually building the foundation of OAuth through various of primitive auth techniques and highlighting where they would fail. I highly encourage everyone to give this article a shot to understand OAuth a bit better. The issue here is that our policy frameworks are outdated. The middle class isn't just an economic category - it's a social and cultural construct too. In urban areas, it might mean owning a home, having a salaried job, and sending kids to private schools. In rural areas, the markers are different.
