It is a great Initiative if passed but that will have a serious impact on state level tax collection. As we all know after GST most of states are suffering to manage thier fiscal deficit the best example is kerla going bankruptcy. If center implement GST on petrol then it will be huge relief for end consumer but that will only widen the fiscal deficit of the states and we will see more states filing for bankruptcy.
