9am to 5pm culture in startups! As founders, many of us, myself included, grapple with shaping a cohesive work culture and instilling discipline in our teams from the outset. To build a startup at an early stage, we do not need 9-5 employees, we need warriors - passionate warriors, who are willing to stand by our side and relish the battle scars. They are not bound by the clock, but they are driven by purpose. Recently, I came across this 25 year old video of @Jack Ma, where he shares his vision of building Alibaba, a company that grew to a staggering US$175 billion valuation. It was truly inspiring to witness him lay out his vision in front of his early employees. PS: Reward these warriors generously as they dedicate their lives to our cause.
