That’s a challenge indeed but that’s the only thing that will work out aswell. You can definitely bring in another competitor in the same feels but the OGs will stay the OG, it will be tough for a user to switch

How about changing packaging? for example Pringle's. If packaging is different then maybe it will create a good difference. Something unique.

If thought global then packaging can be good difference although prices should be maintained, ( price can be lower ) Pringle's market is more to premium segment not general segment.
