It's 2010, and Apple has just launched the iPod Nano and they heavily advertising it across the country. The primary focus of their iPod nano advertisements was that consumers could select from a wide selection of newly released colours. So Rona came up with a creative idea and they placed their billboards below the apple's billboards as like they could blend with each other .(As you can see in the image below) This is known as ambush marketing, and it worked extremely well for Rona. They redirected people's attention from Apple's iPod towards them, resulting in a win-win marketing strategy. Like and follow for more & Was this a brilliant move from Rona?
