Adding to your idea How can u locate the phone? Even if it's switched on ,if the thief remove the sim card from the phone ,ur mobile cannot be tracked (anyways they won't connect wifi if they have idea to keep the phone ,so tracking the IMEI number of the phone even if it's possible throught internet won't be possible here as no internet connectivity) Solution: In the phone we eject sim via pin or a sim ejector tool.This should be modified in the upcoming hardwares of the phones Such that without verifying lockid or fingerprint sim shouldnt be ejected even if pin is inserted .This is not possible in existing phones as hardware modification is needed And also one more things the sim ejecting part of the hardware should be modified such it couldnt be hacked by technican And should be locked for a day on multiple false entries
