Do Apple and Google keep their inter-meshes separate while finding lost phones? So, recently a friend of mine had lost his phone while boarding metro and after going thru the usual rut of blocking, FIR and all, I kept wondering if Apple(iOS) and Google(Android) use each other inter-mesh to find lost phones. Also wondering what does the police use to find these phones? Are they also relying on the big 2 and carriers to find phones?
