Following Sales team for every customer, including the first discovery!! 3. Everyone's favourite, taking up post-sales activities... And end up spending quality time on pre-sales activities

I think a big issue is also failing to fully understand the competition. You need to know what other solutions the client might be considering to effectively position your product.

Overpromising! Sometimes in an effort to impress or secure a client, pre-sales engineers might promise features or timelines that aren’t realistic. This can backfire big time.

This is more of a rant than an opinion. Pre sales SaaS it's stupid requirement hoarding to pacify prospective clients. It's like we are building everything just because we are shit scared of saying no to them
