This is more of a rant than an opinion. Pre sales SaaS it's stupid requirement hoarding to pacify prospective clients. It's like we are building everything just because we are shit scared of saying no to them

Depends on what state the company is in or the region business is at. Start ups who wants to build the business desparately NEED customers and saying no is a sin for them. But as the business grows, larger SaaS companies always look for ROI on the features that are built - either it's for a high value customer or a feature that everyone wants.
