What if you do a borrow book model? Any book that I want to read is probably lying in someone’s home in a 5 kms radius. Why not facilitate the transaction and charge a commission? Tons of options for delivery. For starters let them just porter it or exchange in person. Have said that physical book readers are a dying breed so not sure of long term business….

You're focusing on delivering physical Books, that isn't a bad idea but it isn't also a good idea... Honestly I'm saying... Please don't feel bad about this... I didn't mean to say anything thing wrong. I genuinely respect ur idea.... But what if we can focus on some common and big issues like people facing while traveling....? Isn't a good idea is it? This would be incredible bro.. especially for the customers. The problem in reading book is that once you finish reading one, you have to buy another and sometimes, and actually most of the time. You feel so lazy that you dont order. This would help a lot here. Also one would get kind of the pressure to read it fast. Go for it. I would be your customer!

Why not a book distribution/ reuse system like stuf Say i have 5 books i have read 3 I can give this 3 book the company where others how want to read can use the app as subscription or per book pay bases plus a incurace of no damage which company must give to all the donates distrubuters after guy read it through the book can be returned or given other depending on how the owner set the book re distribution cycle or days limit plus a video with book to show any damages or so to book after every cycles Can also charge people to buy books like manga which are starting to get popular It will work in city with good education level / literacy. can be expanded to magzine docs etc

Interesting idea. I read a lot of books and always prefer physical books cause the joy of a physical book can never match eBooks.

Subscription gives you a recurring revenue stream and to buyers a flexibility. 3. In that way you can keep your costs low as both the services can delivered at same fleet. 4. I used a platform in one of my org, klib. It worked for them. I would suggest: 1. Go Hyperlocal, only 2. Partner with Rapido etc

Great idea but this will work more on tier 2 cities rather than tier 1. You need to deliver books they wanted that will be a issue. You need to crack a optimal supply chain strategy to make it work. Make it weekly or monthly as user preference would be nice. The delivery person should collect the previous book and gives the new book he wanted. It's a pretty good idea. But the culture of booking reading seems low in our country. So TAM will be less. But this business will help to make people read consistently and also with optimal cost. I hope it works.

Make a survey, know how many people are interested in this idea and if feeling it good then go.
