I think it is already a very user centric because , if you watch some other kind of videos , out of your interest, this signal is enough to change its algorithm, the algorithm starts showing you that kind of videos . I hope I am not wrong 🤔

You are correct but you know if want to remove a category of videos ( genre) then I can't like you know customisation isn't available also I want shorts feature to be removed but I can't so yea

Yess , giving freedom to remove some genre can be a unique feature to roll out , and yess shorts tho mujhe bhi Nahi pasand yt par 🤭

Yea but still the thing is they won't as their algorithm promotes more addictive videos which can be of any genre and if some are removed then revenue will shrink down
