It depends upon the product and service it is offering.. but if the founders have coding knowledge and have a little to invest. It can be bootstrapped. Take example of medial only, it got funding last month..but even if they hadn't taken funding, th

You are right but see their growth if they had raised funds then it would have grown very fast and might have built a good share in market , they are not doing this because medial isn't developed yet I would say many updates are required. Bootstrapping can be done for just a small period of time eventually you have to raise funds

I totally agree with you. What i meant is that boot strapping is possible but hard. Though there is travel booking company in india called EaseMyTrip which is completely bootstrapped and about a year ago they went for an ipo also. And last year's profit was about a 130 crore. In India, where all the travel aggregater (even funded) are in loss, this bootstrapped company is profitable.
