I have a question: When entrepreneurs raise funds to start their company or to set up a business, why do they celebrate? Ultimately, this is a kind of loan. Actually, it is a loan. They should celebrate when they start earning profits from those funds. You know, when big startups raise funds, they celebrate that they got it. On social media and in news channels, it is shown that a company raised more than 200 million dollars in funds. So, raising funds is good for them, but to celebrate before making a profit—whether they are in big loss just like other startups having big loan and now they are not able to complete it.

Loan ≠ Funding Here's why:- 1) you have to replay loan amount. 2) in loan there is interest you need to pay. Remember funding is considered as the sign to show startup success. People relate one's funding with its success. Which might be the case always. But that shows trust in the startup and on that trust they get funding.

It's a celebration because raising funds, especially from notable VCs, is incredibly difficult. Just getting that commitment itself is a massive achievement.. Tho I agree it seems completely counterintuitive, It shows investors are willing to bet on your team and idea.

Firstly loan isn't equal to funding. Once you take a loan, you have to pay it back. But if your startup fails, you don't need to return the money. And celebration is due increase in their on paper valuation and networths
