Zomato launches ‘Pure Veg Mode’ for vegetarian customers

Food-delivery platform Zomato has introduced a "Pure Veg Mode" and a "Pure Veg Fleet" option for customers with a strict vegetarian dietary preference. This feature will curate and exclusively display restaurants that serve only vegetarian food, excluding those that offer non-vegetarian options. The move is aimed at catering to the specific demands of vegetarian customers who are particular about how their food is prepared and handled. Zomato is also planning to launch specialized fleets for other customer needs, such as a cake delivery fleet with hydraulic balancers to prevent damage during transportation.
