Zomato launches hyperlocal delivery service Xtreme to leverage 3-lakh strong delivery fleet

Zomato has launched Xtreme, a hyperlocal delivery service that utilizes its fleet of over 3 lakh executives. The service is available in almost all cities where Zomato operates and targets small and large merchants for delivering small packages within the city. Users can ship items weighing up to 10 kg, including documents, medicines, food, and apparel. Zomato is charging Rs 25 for the first kilometer of delivery, with additional charges for every additional kilometer. The move comes as Zomato aims to generate new revenue opportunities and compete with Dunzo, Swiggy, Uber, and Ola in the intracity logistics space.
