Eccentric Engine, a 3D tech partner for automotive players, has raised $5 million in its pre-Series A round co-led by Exfinity Venture Partners and Arkam Ventures. This marks the first external funding for the company. The proceeds will be used to expand Eccentric’s global footprint and to ramp up further development of its proprietary One3D platform. Founded in 2012 by Gaurav Rane and Varun Shah, Eccentric developed One3D, a real-time 3D rendering platform tailored for online retail experiences for automotive OEMs and dealerships. One3D is designed specifically for enterprises, ensuring easy integration into all OEM workflows, including their dealership operations. It brings in optimization in the 3D pipeline that allows auto brands to demonstrate 3D omnichannel expertise with speed and accuracy to market. Its clients include Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota, Hyundai, and Stellantis, among others.

Ice cream brand Go Zero has raised $1.5 million in its follow-on pre-Series A funding round from DSG Consumer Partners, Saama, and V3 Ventures, among others. The round also saw participation from notable angel investors such as Arjun Purkayastha. Earlier in August last year, the startup had raised $1 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by DSG Consumer Partners, Saama, and V3 Ventures. Founded by Kiran Shah, Go Zero has a diversified product portfolio featuring low-calorie, high-protein, and vegan ice creams. The startup claims that all its products are sweetened with plant-based sweeteners, which are low in calories. Currently present in 16 cities and over 125 dark stores, Go Zero ice cream brand is available on both quick commerce and e-commerce platforms in less than two years of launch. In FY24, Go Zero claims to have grown 4X compared to FY23 and while it saw 7X growth on quick commerce in just 5 months this summer. Go Zero competes with Hocco and NIC. Last year, NIC had raised $11 million in a growth funding round led by Jungle Ventures whereas Hocco recently raised $12 million from Chona family and others.

The platform combines artificial intelligence and neuroscience to enable precision in neurological and psychiatric investigations for accelerated patient outcomes. According to BrainSight, its platform products include Voxelbox, which provides clinicians with access to an fMRI processing engine and machine-learning models; and Snowdrop, a patient care app that enables compliance with treatment schedules and builds patient profiles. Currently, BrainSight AI asserts that it collaborates with over 40 leading hospitals across India, particularly in neurosurgery and radiology departments, focusing on brain tumor cases. The company is now expanding its solutions to neurological and psychiatric disorders, paving the way for a more holistic approach to brain care. BrainSight AI helps to understand how the physiology of the brain correlates to its functions by mapping macro-scale neural connections in the brain to enable precise diagnosis and prognosis of neuro-oncological and neuropsychiatric disorders.

Supply chain fintech startup QuiD Cash has raised $4.5 million (around Rs 38.23 crore) in its pre-Series A round from a host of angel investors, including Piyush Jain and existing backer MINTCAP. Earlier in 2024, QuiD had raised Rs 5 crore in its pre-seed funding led by Mint Cap Enterprises and Stone Park Capital. The proceeds will be used for technology enhancement and business growth. The firm has also launched QuiD Capital, an NBFC designed to facilitate anchor-led invoice financing. Founded by Subhash Gupta and Vikram AG, QuiD Cash provides tech-based financial solutions through its B2B supply chain platform. It serves around 8,000 users and partners with over 20 major companies in the FMCG, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture industries. These companies handle transactions worth Rs 50 crore to RS 250 crore every month. The firm operates with a team of 40 employees and plans to expand to 50 people next year. It aims to onboard 5 lakh retailers in the next two years.
