Chief Minister Jibon Anuprerana Scheme – Empowering Assam’s Research Scholars The Government of Assam has introduced a one-time assistance scheme for Ph.D. students called the Chief Minister Jibon Anuprerana Scheme. This initiative offers ₹25,000/- to research scholars and ₹50,000/- to Divyang scholars, aiming to motivate academic excellence and innovation. Eligible candidates must be pursuing their Ph.D. from a Central or State University located within Assam. Applications are accepted online through the Digital Infrastructure for DBT Schemes (DIDS) Portal. This scheme not only supports financial needs but also encourages scholars to contribute meaningfully to Assam’s intellectual growth.
