Tata Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam government to develop 5,000 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy projects in the state. The initiative, which involves an estimated investment of ₹30,000 crore, aims to boost Assam’s green energy capacity and contribute to India’s clean energy transition. The projects will include solar, wind, and hybrid energy solutions, supporting the state’s efforts to enhance sustainable power generation, attract investment, and create employment opportunities in the renewable sector.
