🛒 Tamil Nadu CM Thayumanavar Scheme – Free Ration at Your Doorstep! The Tamil Nadu Government, led by CM Thiru. M.K. Stalin, has launched the Chief Minister Thayumanavar Scheme on 12 August 2025, bringing a huge relief to senior citizens and differently-abled persons across the state. Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries – senior citizens aged 70+ and differently-abled persons – will receive essential ration items like rice, sugar, and more, delivered free of cost right to their homes. This doorstep delivery will take place every 2nd Saturday and Sunday of the month. With 34,809 Fair Price Shops participating, specially assigned ration delivery vehicles will visit homes, equipped with electronic weighing scales and E-POS machines to ensure accurate distribution. Volunteers will also update beneficiary details through the official CM Thayumanavar mobile app during delivery. 💡 Who’s Eligible? ✔ Senior citizens aged above 70 years ✔ Differently-abled persons ✔ Must hold a valid family ration card 📌 No Application Needed – If you meet the criteria and have a family ration card, you are automatically included in the scheme.
