The efforts put by current govt has made India the startup hub, got us so many unicorns (even if short term), increased our internal defense manufacturing and exports, reduced our reliability for defence on other countries (even if marginal), more and more policies to promote manufacturing. Just because China has a damned extreme level of price advantage and mass manufacturing of electronics available with them, you can't just discredit all the efforts that are being put just solely on the basis of electronics industry.

You can't see changes overnight..india is changing and people are conscious about make in india products and also improving in many areas. Also I have noticed that most people are good to lecture in Hindus Festivals like don't burn cracker, save water in holi. But never have guts to speak on Other Religion Festivals ( like Save Goat in Eid, Save Tree in Cristmas)
