I might be wrong but as far as I see Indians often beam with pride for Indian origin CEOs or Politicians who are no longer citizens of India.

This is the harsh reality.
They might be born in India or Indian origin but they have given up Indian Citizenship long back and have adopted American Citizenship.
Most of them are General Category.
