I might be wrong but as far as I see Indians often beam with pride for Indian origin CEOs or Politicians who are no longer citizens of India. We take great delight in celebrating achievements that have nothing to do with our ecosystem or its conditions. They just use India now for either their business interests or their political interests. Because clearly, distance amplifies patriotism. 🌏🎉
