If you don't trust or follow these things, it becomes more important to transfer this good knowledge to others. Else, what's the point? If we don't, its selfishness. At least we should try right? One person has commented here, you might have read it too - look at the comment. This is the reason why its more important today. Misinformation takes no time to spread but correct information takes immense energy and time... If you and me would hesitate, people with wrong info would be winning. Also, just because Chinese and all are following few practices, we should also start doing that. Our religion and original Non-fictional books have already all the answers, but we can't see as we are trapped with these useless and temporary rituals and practices.
