After my last post on these paid award shows, I kept thinking..... Why do so many founders still go for them? Maybe because of the red carpet, meeting a Bollywood celeb, or just to put “Award winning” on LinkedIn. As a student founder, sometimes it feels pressuring when you see others flexing these awards online. But I have also realised no real investor, mentor or customer actually cares about these trophies. They care about the product, growth and impact. In the end, the biggest award is when people genuinely use and love what you have built not when you pay to hold a shiny trophy.
