There is no specific answer but only a few logical answers. 1. A website is not a one time thing. You have to maintain it. If it's tech oriented, it is difficult to maintain. So 30% is not bad for that purpose. 2. Try making it by yourself until you realise it's time consuming and time is money. 3. If he is not willing to contribute in the future, give him 2x more than the original price as he risked his money and time too. Then release him.
