I agree with you that belief ≠ truth. But at the same time, belief ≠ scam/bogus either. Culture is not just about rituals it’s also about identity, continuity, and meaning for people. While some rituals (like sati) were harmful and needed to be abolished, not everything that comes under culture can be dismissed in the same way. Just because astrology or traditions may not hold “universal” truth doesn’t mean they hold no value at all. For many, astrology acts as guidance and gives direction in life. As you said, universal validation is different but personal or cultural relevance cannot be denied either. Upanishads teach us to question, but they also emphasize respecting diversity in paths and experiences. So yes, questioning is necessary, but equally, respecting another person’s faith and cultural practice is important too.

Belief itself is bogus, sir, until proven otherwise. Vedas/upanishad told repeatedly - मानना नहीं है, जानना है - not to assume, but to know. Also, did you see the reply which states certain terms - https://medial.app/post/68aa8cd45937f8d826424532 Plus isn't it our utmost accountability to not misguide youths. Instead of being defensive, please ask AI for this - in a new chat, without any opinion. The neutral and honest approach is required here. The sooner we get clarity on all these things, the better. Indians are more trapped in these things because we have more sufferings, less blissfulness. More degrees, less education. More rituals, than questions. This is also the reason why we lack in innovation.
