Housing.com - A Startup That Could Have Been So Much More Housing.com was one of the most talked startups back in 2014/15 started by a group of IIT Bombay students it had a fresh idea make house hunting in India easy, clean, and online. Investors loved it the product looked great they even ran huge billboard ads across Indian cities with the line āLook Upā But inside the company things were a mess. The CEO Rahul Yadav was smart but unpredictable he fought with investors sent angry emails and even gave away all his shares to employees just to make a point he didnāt want anyone questioning him not even the board. Eventually the investors had no choice but to remove him the company didnāt shut down but it lost momentum. It merged with PropTiger and has stayed alive but never became the game changer it once promised to be.
