I have an idea for creating a brand that helps train travelers. The brand’s name is TF , which stands for Train Food. I believe this could be very profitable because of my personal experiences. My home is in Ra live in Kolkata for my studies. Whenever I travel back home, I have to catch a train from Kolkata station. However, there are no proper food options at Kolkata station, and the train I take doesn’t have an IRCTC canteen. Because of this, I’m forced to buy snacks like biscuits and egg patties from small stalls at high prices. Even after eating, I feel hungry again after two hours. Ordering from services like Zomato or Swiggy is too expensive, and apps like Rail Restro also charge very high prices. Even trains with IRCTC catering often fail to maintain quality, and the food is poorly managed or overpriced. This made me think of a business idea—providing meals at fair prices in small, medium, and premium packages.
