I would like to respectfully share a concern regarding the assessment process during interviews, especially the inclusion of logical reasoning, mathematics, and unrelated aptitude rounds for roles where these may not directly align with the actual job responsibilities. While I understand the importance of evaluating candidates thoroughly, I kindly request you to consider whether such rounds are truly necessary and relevant to the position being offered. Many candidates are going through difficult personal and professional circumstances, and facing such unrelated tests can be discouraging, especially when they do not reflect the candidate's true capabilities or job-fit. I humbly request leadership — including the HR team, managers, and decision-makers — to reevaluate the relevance of certain rounds in the recruitment process and ensure that the selection criteria remain fair, job-specific, and empathetic.
