I agree a degree is not = talent. But it is still the most basic metric used by the recruiters. Degrees are the ones used for opening doors to opportunities. And yes the majority of them with 7.5 cgpa may have jobs so jumping companies it will be. According to various reports about 82% of India's workforce is looking to switch their jobs to a better one and globally it's about more than 55% , So it's still solving a major problem.
