For a moment, it stung. I had imagined what a ‘yes’ could unlock — validation, mentorship, momentum. But once that passed, I sat down and asked myself: what did I really take from this? Here’s what I learned: Execution > ideas Users > investors Do your market research Don’t wait for perfect A co-founder isn’t optional, it’s essential Truth is, this rejection gave me more clarity than most wins have.
