even after various measures and features. Medial failed to fix the upvote manipulation for the showcase. see I am aware VC chose the startup winners. and I can disable the dm incoming with the medial gold / pro.

Can somebody please explain how the startup showcase contest on medial works? How do they rank the startup ideas (Upvotes, etc?)? And do we need a minimum viable product (MVP) to improve our chances of winning?
